Makamae Lyu-Napoleon

Makamae Lyu-Napoleon is 17 years old and attends Damien Memorial High School.

Makamae's musical interests developed through her grandmother who dances the hula and her father who plays the guitar. She always liked the sound of the Hawaiian steel guitar and was happy when she discovered Ke Kula Mele School of Hawaiian Music where she could learn the instrument.

Paddling and dancing hula are Makamae's favorite things to do in her spare time.
